Jason Hawkins DipHE(RNCM) LRSM is a popular young musician bursting out onto the national and international scene. His electrifying interpretations have led to numerous engagements throughout the UK and Europe.
Since 2012 Jason has been the accompanist for the Hallé Youth Choir. This has lead to numerous performances at the Bridgewater Hall alongside tours of Belgium (2012) and Scotland (2013). During Summer 2013 Jason also toured with the Hallé Youth Orchestra as an orchestral pianist concluding at The Sage, Gateshead. Recently, Jason has been involved with the BBC Philharmonic and BBC Singers as an accompanist with projects at the Lowry Centre (Salford) and MediaCityUK.
During 2009 Jason performed Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 alongside the Toruńska Orkiestra Symfoniczna in Toruń, Poland to great audience and critical acclaim. In 2012 Jason performed Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto in Alderley Edge (UK).
The Exon Singers invited Jason as a guest organist for the 2012 Tavistock Festival (Devon) for an 'Olympic Torch' celebration where his improvisation on Howard Moody's ‘Weigh Me The Fire’ drew many members of the audience to the organ console afterwards. Jason was re-engaged by the group in Salisbury later that year for another memorable evening.

Initially, Jason studied at Chetham's School of Music receiving the Michael Abraham Piano Prize for Piano Sightreading and continued his musical studies at the Royal Northern College of Music. Following the RNCM Jason currently studies at Manchester University.
